STUDIO 701 INTERNSHIP.
work experience: digital media internship.

Selective, accredited Golden Bell-winning internship. Produced multiple high-quality broadcast journalism episodes for Poway Unified School District. Content reaches 35,000+ students, parents, and guardians district-wide through official board meetings and social media channels.
 
Learned under Emmy-winning professionals on the "Excellence in Education" series, gaining hands-on experience in video production, scriptwriting, and on-camera reporting. Gained access to media-grade technology and softwares. Each episode valued at over $30k+ in production.

APRICUS LITERARY INTERNSHIP.
work experience: editorial internship.

Selective literary internship. Assisted in editorial decision-making for a 501(c)(3) digital teen literary magazine, supporting diverse female voices in creative writing.
 
Reviewed and evaluated submissions for a publication with 22k+ Instagram followers and thousands of total submissions. Curated content across 4+ issues and provided constructive feedback to dozens of emerging writers.

IRIDESSA LITERARY FOUNDER.
project: global digital literary magazine.

Founded Iridessa Literary, a global digital literary magazine nonprofit with 15+ team members across 6+ continents. Launching April 1st, 2026, it is centered on curating diverse voices and stories from writers worldwide while building an international community of emerging and established writers.
 
We publish short stories, poetry, artwork, visual artwork, film, and more from individuals under the age of 25. Every child deserves to find their pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

DEL NORTE NEWS PRESIDENT.
extracurricular: student journalism leadership.

President and co-founder of Del Norte News Club. Helped establish the club after budget cuts led to the elimination of the school's CTE journalism program, ensuring student journalism remained on campus.
 
Lead a team of student journalists in producing video news content for the school community, published in the yearbook and distributed across platforms. Oversee editorial decisions, manage club meetings, and coordinate with school administration on coverage of campus events.

THE SPOKEN VERSE PROJECT.
project: girl scout gold award.

Working toward a mission where every adult has access to creative writing opportunities. Created comprehensive creative writing curricula and partnered with Rancho Bernardo City Library to host poetry and writing workshops that have reached 70+ participants. Currently expanding partnerships to 30+ libraries across California.Developed multiple platforms, including a podcast, flash fiction contest, and YouTube channel. More can be found on our website.

RB LIBRARY TEEN VOLUNTEER
extracurricular: community service.

Volunteered with the Rancho Bernardo City Library since June 2022, contributing 100+ hours of service across library operations, community events, and the Summer Reading Program (summers 2023, 2024, 2025).
 
Developed customer service skills while strengthening public libraries as vital community resources. Built meaningful connections and fostered a welcoming, inclusive environment.

GIRL SCOUTS AMBASSADOR.
extracurricular: leadership & community service.

Avid Girl Scout for 11+ years. Earned Silver Award for designing and constructing owl boxes for the San Diego Zoo. Currently serving as an Ambassador, the highest Girl Scout rank. Participated in 40+ hours of community service through troop events, service projects, and leadership development.

ABRSM PIANO.
extracurricular: advanced musical performance.

Currently pursuing ABRSM Level 8 certification (highest level) after 11+ years of dedicated classical piano training. Developed technical mastery, discipline, and artistic expression through rigorous practice and study.

YJA LOCAL REPRESENTATIVE.
extracurricular: community leadership.

Serve as local representative for the Jain Society of San Diego within Young Jains of America, connecting and engaging youth across the nation. Aided in organizing cultural events and educational activities that build community connections and cultural identity among youth.

KIDS WRITING SUMMER CAMP.
project: creative writing workshop.

Designed and led three intensive 5-day creative writing workshops for 20+ elementary and middle school students (aged 5-13). Developed curriculum covering poetry, short story writing, and narrative techniques that encouraged young writers to explore creativity and build confidence in their voices. Raised over $250 dollars.

Recognitions

POETRY: GRAND PRIZE WINNER

  AMERICA LIBRARY OF POETRY  

Awarded Division 1st Place Winner, Grand Prize, and Editor's Choice Award from several thousands of national submissions. Received $600 prize and complimentary published anthology. Poem featured on the dedication page of a 270-page published anthology with Editor's Choice recognition for demonstrating "solid fundamentals of creative writing and the ability to elicit an emotional response or provide a thought-provoking body of work in a manner which is both clear and concise."

SHORT STORY: FIRST PLACE

  WHE X OXFORD UNIVERSITY PRESS  

1st place in the World History Encyclopedia x Oxford University Press "Ink of Ages" Short Story Contest- a prestigious international short story competition- winning out of ~700 global entries. Recognized for original fiction writing competing against international submissions. Judged and praised by history professors from top-tier universities.

LITERATURE: AWARD OF MERIT

  NATIONAL PTA REFLECTIONS (9THD)  

Advanced to 9th District level and awarded "The Award of Merit" in the National PTA Reflections program. Competed against top submissions from multiple schools across the district. Recognized for outstanding creative work at the district-wide level of competition.

SHORT STORY: FIRST PLACE

  SAN DIEGO TEEN STORY COMPETITION  

Won 1st place in the countywide teen creative writing competition hosted by the San Diego City Library. Awarded $200 prize for original short fiction written to prompt. Story was publicly read out loud to a audience of 50+ people. Currently, the work is exhibited in the San Diego Central Library Teen Space for all community readers.

POETRY: TOPICAL AWARD

 National HS Poetry Contest  

Selected as a Topical Winner in the National High School Poetry Contest, sponsored by the Live Poets Society of NJ and JUST POETRY!!! The National Poetry Quarterly. Ranked in the top 2% of all national submissions, with work chosen for publication in the American High School Poets: In Like a Lion 2026 anthology.

LITERATURE: AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

  NATIONAL PTA REFLECTIONS (DNHS)  

Recognized at Del Norte High School for excellence in creative arts through the National PTA's Reflections program. Given the "Award of Excellence" from Del Norte High School and advanced to district level. Achievement featured in school newsletter and social media, as well as publicly announced at a celebration breakfast.

Recognized at the Poway Unified School District level for excellence in creative arts through the National PTA's Reflections program. Selected as one of only five students from Del Norte High School (across all six competition categories) to advance to 9th district level. Achievement featured in school newsletter and social media.

Successfully completed Level 6 piano examination with Merit distinction, demonstrating advanced proficiency in musicality. Earned recognition from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music for exceptional performance.

COMMUNITY SERVICE: SILVER AWARD

  Girl Scout san diego  

Completed Girl Scout Silver Award project focused on environmental conservation. Designed and installed owl boxes at the San Diego Zoo to support local wildlife habitats and educate the community about ecosystem preservation.
